Christmas 2 and 3 plus more visiting :)

First up, Alex with Santa. He was sooo good the whole time leading up to Santa, but as soon as we approached Santa Alex frantically kept saying, "no, no, buh-bye, buh-bye!" Once Josh picked him up again he was fine looking at Santa, but sitting on the lap, no.

We celebrated Christmas with Josh's family on the Friday after Christmas. We had fun, but Alex was not feeling well (we're guessing ear infection?) and had a couple fits of inconsolable crying. Poor guy. He liked his gifts though ;)

Uncle Justin, Aunt Tanya and the kids:

Alex opening gifts with Aunt Jenna. This was a Blue's Clues video. ("Coo-coo")

Opening his guitar so he can be like daddy..
Opening his basketball hoop!
And trying out his new guitar. It plays real songs like Loveshack and Message in a Bottle, so it's not too annoying (other toys always play the ABC's. How many different ways can they sing the ABC's? This is much better)

The next day we headed up to celebrate Christmas with my family at Aunt Jen and Uncle Tom's house. Alex LOVED playing with all of Em's toys, who needed Christmas? haha

Here he is opening his Little People farm. He LOVES farm animals and has been obsessed with horses for a while. He was just seeing the horse in this first picture.

What followed was absolute refusal to do ANYTHING else until he had that horse in his hands, so my dad went to work right away on getting the horse out.

Meanwhile, we got Alex to open another gift - a new book.

Em came to check it out too, but you can see Alex is just checking to see if that horse is out of the box yet. Hurry up!
Finally, Alex got a new vaccuum cleaner. He likes to sing along with the song on it - "I'm gonna clean the house today, 'doo-dahh, doo-dahh'"

And on the way back home we made another stop to see Grandma and Grandpa Schultz and Great Grandma and Grandpa Klement. Unfortunately Alex wasn't into taking pictures...

More videos and stories to come about his Christmas gifts. I'm slowly catching up!
