Cute things

They say imitation is the greatest form of flattery. And it's darn cute when it's your 2 yr old is the one doing the imitating.

Copying Daddy:
Alex has been playing with his bubble mower, walking up and down the sidewalk. Last weekend, Josh finally broke out the real mower to mow the lawn. The next day, Alex got out his bubble mower and started pushing on the grass and mulch. He'd go to the edge of the lawn and push it just a little and pull it back and turn it, just like Josh did. Then of course, he pointed out where daddy's bubble mower was stored.

Anytime anyone is mowing their lawn now, he likes to tell me that it's their bubble mower and his is "Addie's" (his latest pronounciation of Alex).

Copying Mommy:
As I was getting dressed the other morning Alex was watching. I did my daily ritual of rubbing my cocoa butter lotion on my belly to try to prevent stretch marks and then Alex asked for lotion. He likes to rub lotion on hands. Of course this time he started rubbing it on his belly too.

We went to the zoo over the weekend, so look for those pictures and stories in the next few days.
